- Mechanical Engineer from University of Roorkee ( now IIT Roorkee).
- Having vast experience of 42 years in Sugar Industry.
- Has been bestowed with various awards - UP Ratan , Udyog Ratan , Prakriti Ratan , Life Time Achievement Award from Sugar Technologists Association of India for his distinguished services to Sugar Industry.
- Vice President of Sugar Technologists Association of India.
- Headed Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd , Fourth Largest Sugar Company in the world, as Chief Executive Director. Under his stewardship the company grew from two sugar factories to 16 sugar factories (from 14000 TCD to 1,40,000 TCD) , one distillery to 8 distilleries(100KL to 800KL) , 0 MW to 50 MW in 7 years.
- Headed Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd as Group General Manager for 28 years. Under his stewardship the company grew from one sugar plant to 3 sugar plant (800 TCD to 28000 TCD) , One distiller of 100 KL and 21.5 MW cogeneration.
- During the period in service acquired 5 sick sugar units and turn around them by rehabilitation , modernization and expansion.
